I had an amazing stay, the food was delicious and good value, especially the dinner. The Christmas decorations made everything feel festive, but the room was a bit dated compared to expectations.

The atmosphere was charming, with a beautiful setting and friendly staff who ensured a pleasant experience. The classic double room was clean and comfortable, featuring good facilities. breakfast was disappointing as many options were depleted by 8:30 am, which affected the overall experience. the afternoon tea lacked attention and quality, with uninspiring sandwiches and soggy macarons.

we had a fantastic stay at shendish manor! the manor house superior double room was luxurious, and we loved the beautiful gardens. it's just a short drive to attractions like the harry potter studios. the breakfast was especially delicious and worth the early wake-up!
the only downside was that the wifi was a bit slow at times.

The room had everything we needed, and I loved how comfy the bed was. We enjoyed relaxing by the lovely garden and taking a stroll on the grounds. The only thing I’d say is that the evening menu could use a bit more variety, but overall, it was a great stay! 😊

missingWrote a review on 26 Junhistoric charmspacious groundsquality fooduncomfortable bed
The building has a unique historical charm, with scenic grounds that could easily host outdoor activities. Dining options offered variety, especially at lunch, and the spacious conference rooms had quality equipment that made them comfortable for meetings.
The double bed felt like a wrestling match against springs, creaking loudly with every toss and turn, leading to a completely sleepless night. Enjoying breakfast came with an unwelcome feeling of being rushed, as I was nudged to leave while I was still sipping my drink. On top of that, the view from my room was marred by a stack of chairs and tables in the courtyard, and the bathroom could use a better clean, with some scale on the taps and grooves around the bathtub that needed more attention.
